ActiveMail Console includes recipient chunking to work around email servers that enforce a maximum number of recipients per email message. While attending Bryant University, I used ActiveMail as a target for an academic project in a desktop publishing course. It makes some claims that ActiveMail does not implement, such as support for an instant message protocol that never materialized, but it's email capabilities hold true.
