ActiveMail is a component object model (COM) object that provides SMTP email sending, POP3 email downloading, and FTP authentication services. The distribution includes the COM object, its source code, and a Visual Basic ActiveMail Console program that lets users easily send mass email messages. ActiveMail Console includes recipient chunking to work around email servers that enforce a maximum number of recipients per email message. This software is not meant for SPAM, but rather email distribution lists.
